This is the Odessa Opera House. The ornate building on the far left is where my mum grew up and where my aunt and uncle still live. If you stand on the balcony, you can see the Black Sea.

I’ve heard it’s good luck to live near a cemetery. Imagine your great fortune if your home is within cemetery walls. As much as I love this house, I’d prefer to wait until I’m dead to live in a graveyard.
